Sadly the trade in children is becoming worse, here in Bedfordshire we have the council advertising children who may well have been forcible removed from their innocent parents.
Bedford Borough Council is outlining the mutual benefits that adoption can bring, so as to encourage more people to consider it.
Bedford Borough has a number of children with a plan for adoption who the adoption team are seeking adoptive families for. These children range in age from 0 to 6 years and include two sibling groups of two. BBC Child Trade Leaflet
Michael Turner QC of Garden Court Chambers said:
“These innocent parents have been spared a criminal conviction and a prison sentence for a crime they never committed. Their life sentence is that they are likely never to see their baby again.”
Ms Cox told The Independent: “I feel completely let down by the system, well and truly let down. It’s been a long three years trying to battle this and we’re going to fight to try to get our child back.”
The Forum fully supports these parents in their attempts to recover their stolen child from the Family Court system.
A Surrey County Council spokesman told the BBC: “With any case like this, we only have one thing in mind and that’s the welfare of the child.”
